Three Ingredient Pomegranate Margarita Recipe

May 19, 2014 By Shannah Coe 11 Comments

It only takes three ingredients to make this amazing Pomegranate Margarita Recipe! This is the one of the best margarita recipes! It will instantly become a favorite cocktail in your house!

What does everyone need on Cinco de Mayo? Or even just a Friday night? A perfect margarita of course. This pomegranate margarita recipe only needs three ingredients and it tastes so good that you’ll want to just make a whole pitcher for you and your friends (or just you…I won’t tell).

Three Ingredient Pomegranate Margarita Recipe - This is the ultimate summer drink and is so easy to make! #cocktails #drinkrecipes

We used to go to our local Mexican restaurant each week and order margaritas. Then, I decided that a homemade margarita could be just as good and created the best margarita recipe.

This three ingredient pomegranate margarita recipe is instantly going to go on your weekend drink list because it is delicious and so easy to make.  Oh, and for my pregnant or non-drinking friends {yes, I have some of both!}, my girl Allyson has created an AH-mazing mocktail version for you to try too.

Margaritas can be a little tricky.  Sometimes places use too much of the purchased, pre-made sour mix and they just turn out all a mess.  You don’t have to worry about that with this one because it is the best margarita recipe.  It is absolutely amazing.

Love the idea of a pomegranate margarita. This pomegranate margarita recipes on has three ingredients to make it. #cocktails #drinkrecipes

I bounce back and forth between putting salt and sugar on the rim of my glass depending on what type of mood I am in.  You choose your favorite to create a perfect margarita. Just be sure you make this homemade margarita recipe by the pitcher so there will plenty to go around.

I don’t see us stopping our Friday night traditions at the Mexican restaurant any time soon but I know we will be making these margaritas at home a lot!  Of course, when my non-drinking friends are over, I’ll be sure to make Allyson’s pomegranate mocktail for them so they won’t be left out!

What size of frozen limeade? 6 or 12 oz?

6oz works best. It won’t be as strong but you can use the 12oz.

[…] One thing I absolutely love about summer is hanging out with our friends, the kids, and being poolside. Last summer was filled with Strawberry Basil Margaritas and Blueberry Basil Margaritas by the pitcher. The pool never gets too hot with a fresh marg in hand!  Well, this summer is a little different considering I have a little (I should probably refer to baby dos as big by now) bun in the oven.  No margaritas for me…well, not until this little bundle of joy pops out in mid to late July.  That’s okay…living in Georgia that means I still have 2 good months of pool/margarita time.  Anyway, I have been wanting to make a ‘mocktail’ of sorts and I was able to come up with this delicious concoction.  I guess it’s technically a flavored limeade, but I will consider this my pregnancy cocktail! It’s super refreshing for the warm weather and it comes together with only a few ingredients.  This is going to be a staple in our fridge this summer.  Another plus side of this Pomegranate Limeade? It’s kid friendly! So when my toddler asks for a sip, I can happily give him his own cup of this delicious drink! Rather have alcohol? Hop over to my friend Shannah blog and check out her spiked version! […]
