We used to go to our local Mexican restaurant each week and order margaritas. Then, I decided that a homemade margarita could be just as good and created the best margarita recipe.

This three ingredient pomegranate margarita recipe is instantly going to go on your weekend drink list because it is delicious and so easy to make.  Oh, and for my pregnant or non-drinking friends {yes, I have some of both!}, my girl Allyson has created an AH-mazing mocktail version for you to try too.

Margaritas can be a little tricky.  Sometimes places use too much of the purchased, pre-made sour mix and they just turn out all a mess.  You don’t have to worry about that with this one because it is the best margarita recipe.  It is absolutely amazing.

I bounce back and forth between putting salt and sugar on the rim of my glass depending on what type of mood I am in.  You choose your favorite to create a perfect margarita. Just be sure you make this homemade margarita recipe by the pitcher so there will plenty to go around.

Three Ingredient Pomegranate Margarita

The perfect margarita is here and it only needs three ingredients! Make this pomegranate margarita at home by the glass or by the pitcher.

Servings: 10

Ingredients

  • 16 oz of POM pomegranate Juice
  • 1 can frozen limeade concentrate
  • 16-20 oz tequila gold or silver
  • Limes for garnish
  • Sugar or salt for glass rims

Instructions

  • Empty the limeade concentrate into a large pitcher. Add 2 1/2 cans of cold water. Add 16-20 ounces (your preference) of tequila. Add POM juice, and a couple lime wedges and ice to fill. Mix thoroughly.
  • Place the pitcher, covered, in the fridge for at least 2 hours. Serve in sugar rimmed glasses, over ice, garnished with lime if desired.
