Breakfast on the Go in Under 2 Minutes

May 17, 2014 By Shannah Coe 8 Comments

How much time do you get for breakfast each morning?  If we are talking most weekday mornings, I get somewhere between 2-3 minutes to make breakfast before I have to rush out of the door.  That doesn’t leave me a ton of options and, if I am looking for nutritious and wholesome meals, the amount of options available is even less. It turns out that there is an option for a breakfast on the go in under 2 minutes that is not only delicious, but also includes quality ingredients like real cheeses and fresh eggs along with high quality sausage, ham and chicken.

Delicious breakfast on the go in under 2 minutes! #BetterBreakfast #TysonDayStarts

I had recently seen Tyson® Day Starts™  products in the freezer case at Harris Teeter when I was picking up yogurt one day.  Knowing I am always getting tired of the same breakfast every.single.day, I decided to check them out.

It turns out that they go from package to ready to eat in under 2 minutes!  Now, I will admit to being a little skeptical.  I love Tyson Foods but anything that cooks that fast has me worried about a loss of flavor or quality.  Thankfully, that was definitely NOT the case with these.

I tried the first ones on the day when I was home from work so I could really get the timing down {microwaves vary after all}.  Plus, that meant I could actually enjoy the deliciousness of the flatbread on a plate!

The cheese melted perfectly and the eggs were so flavorful.  I was really happy about my new found option.  Even better, after it is cooked, I just fold it over and slide it into a little bag for the perfect on the go breakfast I can eat in the car on my commute.

Tyson® Day Starts™ products come in seven different varieties, include biscuit sandwiches, breakfast flatbreads and wrapped omelets. They even have a great vegetarian breakfast option too.

Please visit Tyson.com to download a $1 off coupon and check the product locator tool to find out where Tyson® Day Starts™ products are sold at a store near you!

This would be great for breakfast any day. I should not have come over here hungry.
