Dark Chocolate Frozen Yogurt Bites

We keep a pretty hectic schedule around here which means I don’t get a ton of time to myself. It also means that treats and sweets are typically shared at least 3 ways. I love my kids and family but sometimes a little “me” time is definitely in order. I am also trying to really watch what I eat and limit high sugar sweets though. The frozen yogurt bites we typically make are a HUGE hit with the kids so I decided to try making some dark chocolate frozen yogurt bites which are perfect for me!

Dark Chocolate Frozen Yogurt Bites

These dark chocolate frozen yogurt bites start with delicious Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt and then get topped with a rich dark chocolate finish. I found the yogurt in our local Walmart and had to try all three flavors: Raspberry Chocolate Chip, Mint Chocolate Chip and Vanilla Bean! Be sure to look for them in the yogurt aisle and not over near the ice cream!

Ingredients for Dark Chocolate Frozen Yogurt Bites:

1 container of  Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt
1/4 cup dark chocolate chips

Let’s Make It:

1) Place a small metal pan, lined with parchment paper or nonstick foil, in the freezer for 15 minutes.

2) Put yogurt into plastic bag with seal. Seal and cut small piece off of corner. Pipe yogurt bites onto frozen pan. Place in freezer for 15 minutes.

3) Place dark chocolate chips in a small bowl and heat for 30 seconds. Stir until smooth. Remove yogurt bites from freezer and drizzle with melted chocolate. Return to freezer for 5 minutes.

These little yogurt bites are the perfect little treat for my me moment. I can grab a few and still feel good about what I am eating. With ice cream flavors and 210 calories are less, the yogurt is the perfect replacement for traditional ice cream.

You could always just grab a cup of the yogurt for your breakfast too and feel a little indulgent without actually indulging in a super sugary breakfast!

You can try Müller® Ice Cream Inspired Yogurt at the demos Walmart will be holding between February 5th-8th. Be sure to check your local store to see if they will be hosting one!

What is your favorite way to take a “me” moment? Do you love to find alternatives to your favorite treats that are lower in sugar and calories?

Yum! Can you use Greek yogurt instead of that specific brand?

Yes, Greek yogurt will work fine. The ice cream inspired yogurt just tastes really great in them.
