This is one of the best sangria recipes out there! I use a secret ingredient to keep my Sparkling Tropical Sangria perfectly refreshing and not watered down, even if you drink it slowly! Trust me, you’ll want to find out what it is!

Sangria is the ultimate wine cocktail. Even non-wine lovers or light drinkers fall in love with a glass of sparkling tropical sangria because it is light, fruity and perfectly bubbly.

Sparkling Tropical Sangria

Sangria is always a crowd pleaser when I am hosting. From a traditional red wine based version to a fun and fruity one, there always seems to be a great option for any get together. In the summer, I skew towards more tropical flavors and this sparkling tropical sangria is the perfect companion for summer party, picnic, or day by the pool.

Ingredients for Tropical Sparkling Wine Sangria

  • Orange
  • Mango – If you can’t find ripe fresh mangoes, you can substitute frozen mango chunks here.
  • Limes
  • Pineapple Juice – The fresh pineapple juice works best if you can get it! I’ve also made it with the low sugar version and it was delicious.
  • Dry White Wine – I usually use a Sauvignon Blanc or Pinot Grigio.
  • Sparkling Wine – Unless you want a really sweet Sangria, use a brut version.

Like so many cocktails, if you don’t drink them pretty fast, the ice starts to melt and water down the flavor of the drink. That is not a problem with this sparkling tropical sangria because I have a secret ingredient that I use instead of ice: Outshine Pineapple Fruit Bars.

Sparkling Tropical Sangria Recipe

You could easily use fruit popsicles in any glass of sangria including a red sangria, rose sangria and different versions of white sangria.

Some of my favorite fruit popsicle choices to put into cocktails or even a glass of champagne or sparking wine for something fun are:

  • Pomegranate fruit bars (delicious in red wine sangria)
  • Peach fruit bars (so good in a white wine sangria or just with a glass of prosecco)
  • Strawberry frozen fruit bars (great in champagne or rose wine sangria)
  • Coconut fruit bars
  • Mango frozen fruit bars

Tropical sparkling sangria is the perfect year round white wine sangria. The popsicles make it perfect hot, summer day but you can skip them and serve this at any party.
