We may be closing in on fall quickly but there are still a few more glorious weeks of summer left. That means there is MORE than enough time to enjoy this delicious frozen cocktail made with frozen lemon cubes and a lemon simple syrup! You’ll want to make both of those items in advance but all the details you need are below!
Ingredients for the Perfect Frozen Limoncello Cocktail

- Limoncello – Choose your favorite from the store or try your hand at making your own!
- Vodka – This is optional but I highly recommend.
- Frozen Lemonade Cubes – You could make these out of store bought lemonade but I also include a recipe for homemade cubes below.
- For these, you will need lemon zest, lemon juice, sugar, and water.
- Lemon zest & mint leaves – Perfect for adding extra flavor and a garnish.

Essential Items for This Recipe
- Ice Cube Tray – I like this size because I can easily use it for cubes for other cocktails too.
- Blender – For the smoothest drink, make sure you have a high powered blender.
- Small Saucepan
- Cocktail Glasses – These coupe style glasses are super fun and chic!
As I mentioned above, there are two parts to this recipe: the ice cubes used for the base and the actual cocktail. The full ingredient list and step by step instructions for both can be found in the printable recipe card below but here is a quick overview.
