Frozen Lemonade Cubes

Ingredients

Lemon Infused Simple Syrup

  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 1 medium lemon zest only

Frozen Lemonade Cubes

  • 2/3 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1/3 cup lemon infused simple syrup
  • 2/3 cup water

Instructions

For the syrup

  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar and water. Add the lemon zest and cook, stirring, until the sugar has dissolved.
    1/2 cup sugar, 1/2 cup water, 1 medium lemon
  • Remove the pan from heat and let steep for 15 minutes. Strain into a storage jar and discard the lemon zest. Refrigerate until ready to use.

For the frozen lemonade cubes

  • In a large measuring cup or small pitcher, combine the lemon juice, 1/3 cup of lemon infused simple syrup, and 2/3 cup of water. Stir well.
    2/3 cup fresh lemon juice, 1/3 cup lemon infused simple syrup, 2/3 cup water
  • Pour the lemonade mixture into ice cube trays and freeze until solid.

Notes

  • You will have extra lemon infused simple syrup. Refrigerate any leftover until ready to use.
