Brown Rice Breakfast Porridge

January 26, 2018 By Shannah Coe Leave a Comment

I am excited to partner with Minute® Ready to Serve to bring you this recipe. As always, while this post is sponsored, all thoughts and opinions are my own

Get a wholesome and hearty breakfast each morning with this super quick and easy Brown Rice Breakfast Porridge! So easy, it only takes 5 minutes to make!

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day. I think we all hear that from the time we are kids. As an adult, it is also one of the hardest meals for me to ensure I eat. I’m either hustling to get the kids to school or myself off to work. Some days, I am just so busy at work that I don’t even realize I’ve missed breakfast until lunch hits. Now that I have this recipe for Brown Rice Breakfast Porridge though that isn’t a problem anymore.

Paleo Breakfast Enchiladas

January 8, 2018 By Shannah Coe 7 Comments

Ace breakfast with these paleo breakfast enchiladas! They are perfect for Whole30, paleo or even just gluten free diets. Meal prep them on Sunday and enjoy a delicious paleo breakfast all week too.

When doing Whole30 or trying to stick to paleo eating, breakfast can be tough. I always feel like I follow the same routine of bacon and eggs or paleo breakfast meatballs when I’m making a paleo breakfast recipe. That all changed with these paleo breakfast enchiladas though.

Say Yes to Capri Sun and Caramel Apple Donut Fries

November 21, 2017 By Shannah Coe 7 Comments

[the_ad id=’18285′]

Kraft-Heinz sponsored this post, but the opinions are my own.

Our day of yes was inspired by the Capri Sun Refreshers available at Walmart. They are a blend of fruit juice and filtered water mix of  juice and filtered water making saying “yes” to my kids enjoying them super easy. There are no artificial colors, preservatives, or flavors and they have no added sugar either. Plus, it takes away the mixing that I was already doing with their juice. Finding them our local Walmart was simple too. Our current favorite is the Capri Sun Refreshers Awesomely Apple.

As a parent, I often have to say “no” a ton when it comes to my kids. They frequently want to do things that don’t work in our schedule, I don’t think are a great idea or just can’t happen for some reason or another. But, while my husband has been away, I’ve had to tell my daughter no more times that I like just because I was solo parenting both kids and working so I just couldn’t make things happen. To reward her for being so amazing during that time, I decided we would have a day of yes which included eating caramel apple donut fries for dinner.
