Peach Prosciutto Bites

August 5, 2015 By Shannah Coe 9 Comments

Are you tired of my peach obsession yet? Between pizza, soup and a crescent ring, I can see how it might be starting to get a tad old. BUT, I have the most amazing recipe that is going to make you grab your phone to schedule an end of summer party just so you can make these peach prosciutto bites to serve it at. Seriously, they are THAT good.

Peach Prosciutto Bites

I used white peaches in this because they are my favorite. You can easily use traditional peaches and it will be just as good. When you are picking your prosciutto, go ahead and get the really good stuff. You won’t be using much and it is worth the splurge.

Oh, and if you are pressed for time or just don’t feel like making the balsamic glaze yourself, you can buy it here.

Ingredients for Peach Prosciutto Bites:

1 white peach
1/4 lb prosciutto
Balsamic Glaze:
1/2 cup balsamic vinegar
1 Tbsp honey

Let’s Make It:

1) In a small saucepan, combine vinegar and honey. Bring to a low boil over medium heat. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 15 minutes or until vinegar is thick enough to cover the back of a spoon.

2) Remove the pit from the peach and slice into medium sized slices. Wrap prosciutto around peach slices and place on serving platter. Drizzle with balsamic glaze.

So, while you are making that balsamic glaze, go head and double the recipe because you are going to want to put it on everything. I also like to use it on kale chips…just saying 🙂

Ok, no promises but this is probably the last peach recipe for this summer that you’ll get. In the meantime, tell me what your favorite way to use peaches is!

Hi! I found your site on the Pint Sized Baker Tuesday link party and I’m so glad I did. These peach prosciutto bites are POPPING off of my screen. I have so many peaches right now (they are so cheap in season!). The salty of the prosciutto and sweet of the peach/balsamic sounds soon good!!!
