Peach Burrata Salad Ingredients

- Peaches – Choose ripe but firm peaches to ensure they’re sweet and juicy without becoming mushy. If peaches are out of season, nectarines or plums make excellent substitutes.
- Fresh Burrata Cheese
- Prosciutto – You can substitute ham here if you can’t find prosciutto.
- Arugula – This peppery lettuce is the perfect base for this salad. You could substitute baby spinach.
- Toasted Almonds
- Fresh basil
- Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- Balsamic Glaze – Balsamic glaze can be found at many grocery stores. However, it is very easy to make your own.
- Salt and Pepper
What is Burrata?
Burrata is a fresh Italian cheese that has two separate layers. The outer shell is fresh mozzarella and the inner layer is a mix of shredded mozzarella and cream called stracciatella.

How to Make Peach Burrata Salad
This salad is all about layering flavors. Start with peppery arugula as the base. Then, add fresh peaches, salty prosciutto, and some crunch from almonds. Top the salad with fresh burrata. Season everything with salt and pepper and then drizzle with olive oil and balsamic glaze.

Tips for Making the Best Peach Salad
- Use the freshest burrata you can find for the best creamy texture in this peach burrata salad. If unavailable, fresh mozzarella is a good alternative but you won’t have the same creaminess.
- Opt for high-quality prosciutto (prosciutto de Parma is a great choice!) or deli ham for a more refined flavor. Ask your deli to slice it thinly for easy layering.
- Look for baby arugula for a milder flavor if regular arugula is too peppery for your taste. You can also substitute baby spinach or do a half and half split.
- For a nut free option, you can replace the almonds with sunflower seeds or pumpkin seeds to retain the crunch.
- Vegetarian: Skip the prosciutto and add roasted chickpeas or grilled halloumi for a vegetarian version.
