Halloween Party Treats: Mummy Corn Dogs

October 2, 2018 By Shannah Coe 3 Comments

This post has been sponsored by Tyson Foods, Inc. All opinions are my own.

Halloween is just around the corner. Make your party spooktacular with great Halloween party treats like mummy corn dogs and chicken nugget graveyards. With just a few ingredients, you can create a fantastic Halloween spread.

Every year, we host a pre-trick or treating dinner at our house. The dinner includes tons of neighborhood kids and their parents and everyone is their to fuel up before hitting the streets for trick or treating. I love creating themed foods that the kids also love to eat like these fun mummy corn dogs and chicken nugget graveyards.

The key to making these great Halloween party treats easy and delicious is to start with State Fair® Corn Dogs and Tyson® Chicken Nuggets. Combine those two great options, found at your local Walmart, with a few other simple ingredients for the perfect fright bites.

I always get the kids involved in making these fun Hallowee fright bites and they are perfect for adding just the right amount of spook factor to our food table!

For the Tyson® Chicken Nugget graveyards, we use BBQ sauce in the little cups. Some of the kids prefer ketchup and that would work just as well. Be sure to look for small cups so you won’t need a ton of sauce to fill it up.

A black gel writer (this one would work great) is perfect for creating the RIP on the Tyson® Chicken Nuggets and for making or sticking eyes onto the mummies made from State Fair® Corn Dogs.

Here is the easy way to make the chicken nugget graveyards:

  1. Bake Tyson® Chicken Nuggets according to package directions.
  2. Using black gel writer, write RIP on each chicken nugget.
  3. Fill small cups with BBQ sauce. Place chicken nuggets inside.

Whatever your Halloween plans are this year, from a kid-friendly feast to an adult party, be sure to shop your local Walmart to pick up Tyson®, State Fair® and Hillshire Farm® products so that your food table will be optimally spooktacular! Also, be sure to get tons more Halloween inspiration here.
