Cucumber Lemon Thyme Spa Water

June 22, 2015 By Shannah Coe 4 Comments

Up your water intake with an amazing infusion idea! Cucumber Lemon Thyme Spa Water is the perfect refreshing summer drink to quench your thirst! This flavored water recipe will help you choose invigorating infused water full of flavor over sugary sodas and juices!

Happy Monday! Typically Mondays are the days that I share my latest paleo recipe with you. Today is a little different because while the post is actually a paleo recipe, I am actually sharing my new favorite drink.

See…I really just don’t like water. I wrote a whole thing about my problem with water awhile back and ways that I try to drink more water. But, I still tend to fail majorly at drinking enough water.

Focusing on eating healthier is great but it needs to go hand in hand with paying more attention to the liquids I put in my body too. My current favorite {well besides my daily latte which I’ll probably never give up} is cucumber lemon thyme spa water.

Up your water intake with this delicious and refreshing cucumber lemon thyme spa water!

Now, spa water is really just a fancy name for mineral water here. It is what they serve at the spa I go to at least. You could really use any filtered water and be totally fine. The goal is just to drink more of the good stuff versus drinking things like juices or even sodas.

Cucumber Lemon Thyme Spa Water Ingredients:

1 seedless cucumber
1 large lemon
3 thyme twigs
2 quarts water

Let’s Make It:

1) Slice the cucumber and lemon. Remove the seeds from the lemon slices if desired (I always do).

2) Place cucumber and lemon slices and thyme into large pitcher. Fill with water and chill. Drink up!

So, this is so simple to make that it feels a little silly typing it out as a recipe but I just had to share it with you! I went from drinking almost no water (maybe a 20 oz bottle per day) to refilling my 24 oz water bottle two to three times per day. It is awesome and I feel great. The flavors in this work just right together and make it so easy to drink the water.

This looks like a great way to encourage hydration! Plus, I have way too much thyme in my herb garden right now and have been struggling to keep up with using all of it. Thanks for sharing such a great combo.

This sounds perfect. I’ve been drinking a lot of lemon water lately and jazzing it up would be fantastic. Almost have cucumbers ready to harvest, I can hardly wait.

Thanks so much for sharing this, Shannah! I’ve been sharing water flavoring ideas on my blog recently, but I never thought to use fresh thyme! Great idea. Pinning.
