November 9, 2020 By Shannah Coe 10 Comments

Everyone will be begging for seconds when you make this super easy, crowd-pleasing one pot pizza pasta.

There is a conversation that happens all the time in our house when it comes time for dinner. If I am running behind or just don’t feel like sticking to my meal plan, I’ll make the mistake and say “what do you all want for dinner?” The inevitable answer is pizza from one half of my family and pasta from another half. So, to solve the problem in my household, I make one pot pizza pasta and meet in the middle.

One pot pizza rigatoni is the perfect easy meal that cooks fast and tastes amazing. It will solve your dinner problem any night.

Chicken Parmesan muffins are an easy way to get all the flavors of the Italian favorite with a lot less time and work. Make these chicken Parmesan muffins for you family and watch them fall in love with every bite.

My husband is an enormous chicken Parmesan fan. He orders it at practically any Italian restaurant we go to. I find the traditional recipe to be a lot of work for an at home meal so I created these chicken Parmesan muffins. These muffins have all the flavor of the original but with a lot less time and effort needed to get them to the table.

Reuben pizza is the perfect combination of your favorite sandwich and a perfect pizza. We love it for St. Patrick’s Day or if you are just craving a yummy combination of corned beef and the tasty dressing.

We eat pizza a lot in our house.  It is a favorite of the littles {of course} and my husband doesn’t mind much either.  We’ll do make your own pizza nights to add to the fun.  On a recent “make your own” night, I came up with the idea to turn one of my husband’s favorite sandwiches into a pizza and created this reuben pizza recipe.

Prosciutto cups with pears and goat cheese are the perfect easy party appetizer! This one bite appetizer is so perfect because it combines salty, savory and sweet flavors into one delicious little bite.

Every party needs an delicious one bite appetizer that the host can easily make in advance but also stands the test of the hours long it sits during a party. Prosciutto cups with pear and goat cheese are perfect for parties because much of the prep can be done 1-2 days ahead.

While they can survive a few hours on the party table, you won’t need to worry about that because they will totally disappear once people try them.

Cherry Dr Pepper Brownie Bites

December 1, 2018 By Shannah Coe 2 Comments

This post has been sponsored by Dr Pepper®. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Cherry Dr Pepper® brownie bites are the perfect game day treat. With just two ingredients, you can create fudgy brownie bites that are perfect for popping in your mouth during the commercial break.

We’re huge football fans in the My Suburban Kitchen household, but one of our favorite parts of game day is, of course, the food! Finger foods are a must and, for a sweet treat, I always make Cherry Dr Pepper Brownie Bites. They are a game day winner every time, and it’s so easy to pick up everything I need at my local Stop & Shop.

White Chocolate Cranberry Oatmeal Cookies

November 16, 2018 By Shannah Coe 15 Comments

White chocolate oatmeal cranberry cookies combine all the best flavors of a Christmas cookie in one simple recipe. I highly recommend making a double batch because these cranberry oatmeal cookies are always crazy popular.

For as long as I can remember, cookies and Christmas go hand in hand. My grandmother used to spend day after day making all kinds of delicious Christmas treats. No one came to visit without getting a plate of goodies to take home. As I’ve gotten older, I try to do the same for my family and friends. Mathlete loves oatmeal cookies so it only makes sense to include some version in our holiday baking. My favorite are white chocolate cranberry oatmeal cookies.
