A quick and easy homemade salad dressing that you'll want to chug because it tastes SO good.

Ingredients

  • 2/3 cup plain Greek yogurt
  • 1 Tablespoon white wine vinegar
  • 2 Tablespoons honey
  • 3 Tablespoons milk or water, to thin as needed
  • 1 Tablespoon poppy seeds
  • Pinch salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the Greek yogurt, white wine vinegar, and honey until smooth and fully combined.
    2/3 cup plain Greek yogurt, 1 Tablespoon white wine vinegar, 2 Tablespoons honey
  • Add the milk to the yogurt mixture and stir. You can adjust the amount of milk you add to the mixture to meet your dressing consistency preference.
    3 Tablespoons milk
  • Stir in the poppy seeds, and season with salt and freshly ground black pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly incorporated.

  • Pour the poppy seed dressing into a storage container with a sealable lid, such as a mason jar, and chill in the refrigerator for about least 10-30 minutes before serving.

Notes

  • Nutritional Information assumes fat free Greek yogurt is used and serving size is 1/4 cup of dressing. 
  • Dressing can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week. Shake or stir well before serving in case ingredients have separated. 
  • If the dressing is to thick, thin with extra milk or water. If the dressing is too thin, add a small amount of yogurt. 
  • You can replace the yogurt with half or all mayonnaise. This will impact the taste (less tangy) and the nutritional profile.
