Benefits of Peanut Butter

Peanut Butter Magic Bars

Peanut butter is extremely versatile. You can use it in savory recipes, like these Thai noodles, but also include it in dessert recipes like these chocolate peanut butter magic bars. No matter what recipe I am adding my peanut butter to, I know I will be getting 8g of protein and 2 grams of fiber per 2 Tablespoon serving.

How to Make Peanut Butter Dessert Bars

These “magic” bars are so easy to make and require just a few steps (full instructions are provided in the recipe card below).

  • Make and bake the crust.
  • Add peanut butter, chocolate, and sweetened condensed milk on top of the crust. Bake again.
  • Drizzle with melted peanut butter and let cool.

The combination of chocolate and peanut butter is totally a classic, and I definitely embrace it with this recipe. The crust is a mixture of chocolate and regular graham crackers that get crushed together and then mixed with melted butter.ย

I use my favorite brand of creamy peanut butter for these magic bars. However, if you prefer the extra crunch that crunchy peanut butter adds, feel free to swap that in.

Once the bars all are baked and cooled, I cut them up and drizzle them with some more melted peanut butter. (Did I mention that I really LOVE peanut butter?!)
