A Day in the Life – Grabbing a BLISS Moment #BLISSandTell #CGC

August 22, 2013 By Shannah Coe 8 Comments

My days get pretty busy and super stressful. For example, here is a sample “day in the life” type schedule for you {and this is during summer so school hasn’t even started}:
4:15am – Get up and get dressed
6:00am – Start working
1:00pm – Head to physical therapy.
2:00-3:30pm – Physical therapy
4:00pm – Home to play with kids before dinner
5:00-6:00pm – Prepare dinner/lunches
6:00-7:00pm – Dinner and clean up
7:00-8:30pm – Play with kids followed by kid bedtimes
8:30-???pm – Answer emails, schedule blog related social media stuff, edit pictures, write posts, etc.

That schedule doesn’t leave much time for relaxation and, knowing all the needs to get done in a given day, can be really stressful!  My husband is super helpful but he has his own to do list too.  Sometimes, I know I need to just take a step back and recharge so my stress level goes down and I can really get back to be productive vs. crazy, stressed out no headed chicken lady.

If you follow me on Facebook, you probably saw that I am trying to quit drinking soda and am looking for new things to drink that are actually helpful to my body (i.e. no artificial colors or flavors and low calorie).  In my search, I discovered neuro BLISS drinks.  Neuro BLISS was developed after conducting a study that surveyed more than 1,200 consumers and found that nearly 50 percent of Americans spend at least half their daily lives stressed out.  Sound like you?  I know it sounds a lot like me.  Like…my face should be on the wiki page for stress 😉  In fact, many of us are actually more stressed than we even realized.

The cure for stress varies but a quarter of the respondents say personal time would help treat the stress.  Sure, vacations are great and typically greatly reduce stress but they aren’t always practical.  So, a delicious drink was created that is a combination of chamomile and a powerful blend of vitamins, minerals and antioxidants including L-theanine {an amino acid found in green tea which has been found to reduce stress}.  This combination provides a calming effect that reduces stress levels, improves memory and attention and supports the brain, resulting in the ability to concentrate on that to do list and not the pressure to get it all done.

Of course a drink can’t do it all for you so it is important to take some time and really enjoy a BLISS moment!  Mine was pretty simple but oh welcomed.  I grabbed my neuro BLISS along with a magazine I’ve been itching to flip through {a June issue to give you an idea of how long it has been!} and hit the couch.

The 30 minutes of relaxing on the couch with my drink and magazine was exactly what I needed to reduce my stress level.  A plus:  I found out about the BLISS and Tell Sweepstakes where my moment could win me a $10k dream vacation.  Pretty sure that would do a lot to get me off the wiki page as the poster child for stress 😉  Simply visit your local store {Target, Walgreens, 7-11 and other national stores} to pick up a neuro BLISS and then visit the sweepstakes page to share your moment.  I even have a coupon for a $1.00 off to help save you some money

Now, I’m headed outside to the deck for BLISS moment number two…July magazine issue here I come!

Tell me how you would reduce stress?  What do you need to create a BLISS moment?

I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.

My bliss moments happen in the back yard, in my hammock, bliss is the perfect word for what I feel in those quiet moments. Now I’m going to have to add NeuroBliss and try that!

What a great review. I think I could use about a gallon of this right now and a little corner to hide in while I drink it! I will look for this in Target, next time I am there!

Like you, I’m trying to cut out soda. I’ve been looking for an alternative and I’ll have to check out NeuroBliss for sure. Thanks for the tip.

Cutting out soda is just so hard! I am coming up on my two week mark and it is getting slightly easier. Definitely give Neuro BLISS a try…it has some fizziness that helps with the soda cravings 🙂

I should check out NeuroBliss for sure. I have so stressed and feeling overwhelmed lately. For me bliss, is listening to the ocean while listening to my children’s squeals of delight.. not the fighting that almost always follows:)

That definitely sounds like a pure bliss moment! Nothing like the squeals of your children. 🙂 Definitely give Neuro BLISS a try. It is delicious.
