Weekday Breakfast Solutions with #TysonBreakfast

Collective Bias Disclosure

On a normal workday, I am in the office by 6:00am and starving by 7:00am.  My co-worker and I will head down to the cafe on the first floor and grab a quick breakfast before getting back to work.  Since my surgery, I’ve been working from home with no co-workers and no cafe.  I’ve had to search for some weekday breakfast solutions to make sure I start my day off right!

After therapy recently, Mathlete took me to Walmart to get a few errands done.  I knew I needed some something for weekday breakfasts when I am at the house alone so we took a trip down the frozen food aisle.

Because I am cooking breakfast during a short break in the work morning, I need something that is quick and easy to make.  I noticed the breakfast bread bowls from Tyson Foods and thought they looked delicious.  They cook super fast and are easy to store since they are frozen until you are ready to cook them.  I grabbed the bacon, egg and cheese variety and tossed them in my cart.  We did a little more shopping and headed home {you can see more from our shopping trip here}.

The next morning I started to get hungry and decided it would be a great time to give the bowls a try.  I popped them into the microwave and in under a minute I had a hot breakfast ready for me.  I added some fresh berries and juice and had a complete meal that was perfect!

Doesn’t that look delicious?
It tastes as good as it looks! I love having eggs for breakfast because of the additional protein they provide and the breakfast bowls make it quick and easy.  Plus, the bowl is only 230 calories so I am not taking a huge calorie hit to get a really tasty breakfast.
You can find Tyson Foods on Twitter and Facebookfor more breakfast ideas.

Thanks! They were so tasty and I loved how fast they cooked. I bought a few more boxes so I would have them to take to work with me too.
