We Appreciate You, Teachers!

May 15, 2012 By Shannah 7 Comments

Last week was Teacher Appreciation week and I am so late sharing with you some of the things our kids did for their teachers.

Being in preschool/daycare, the school does a lot of stuff for the teachers and provides “guidance” on the events they will be doing to help parents do things in line with the plans.

Monday was make your teacher a card day.  I set H to work on cards for her two teachers and she had a lot of fun!

Tuesday was breakfast day at one school.  For H’s teachers, we put together little packages of mini cinnamon rolls (thank you, Costco!) and Starbucks Via coffee.  I had these adorable little tags designed and planned to print them but we ran out of ink so I just hand wrote some and H put washi tape on them.

E’s school doesn’t allow outside food because it is nut free school.  For his teachers, we got Starbucks giftcards and some Starbucks via and ties them together with little tags.

Wednesday was sweets day.  We had some old fashioned taffy and chocolate bars that we tied together and put tags on.

H had a lot of fun with the butterfly punch and bakers twine.

Thursday was lunch day for H’s school so Shopaholic and I ordered her teachers a pizza to share.  E’s school didn’t have a specific theme for Thursday so we decided to give them little decorated candles (more about those here).

Friday was flower day and so the kids took a small flower to each one of their teachers.  We chose artificial flowers because they were less likely to get destroyed by the kids en route to school.

Did you do anything fun the teachers in your kids’ life?  I’d love to see new ideas for next year!

Oh! I’d be thrilled to receive this treat. We don’t do teacher appreciation where I am (and teach), so jealous C:

Thanks so much for sharing at our Pin’inspiration party.
