Summer is the perfect time to sit outside by the pool with a vodka sprite cocktail in your hand! This combination of the traditional vodka and sprite but with sweet watermelon flavor added in is sure to be your absolute favorite summer cocktail from the first sip.
You are definitely going to want to make sure you grab some fresh, perfectly ripe watermelons to use in this recipe! Use a few slices as garnish and save the rest for this watermelon crush recipe.
Watermelon is delicious, and definitely one of the most anticipated treats of the summer. The only thing that could make it even more mouthwatering? A little splash of vodka and sprite of course! Because let’s be honest, vodka makes everything just a bit better, right?!

- 4 oz vodka
- ½ cup pureed watermelon juice strain to remove any small seeds
- Squeeze of fresh lime
- 2 tsp simple syrup
- Crushed ice
- Lime soda (sprite) or seltzer water
- Watermelon slice for garnish
In a martini shaker filled with ice, combine the vodka, watermelon juice, lime, and simple syrup. Shake until well combined.
Divide the mixture evenly into two glasses.
Add crushed ice and top off with lime soda.
Garnish with watermelon slice.
