Burlap and Plaid Christmas Wreath

December 9, 2014 By Shannah Coe 1 Comment

So, November totally flew by! It was like I packaged up the Halloween decorations and now I am pulling out my snowmen and Christmas items. This blog started with the making of a wreath {and then a ton of wreathes after that} so I like to be sure and share the newest wreath I make each year for Christmas. This year, I am going for a pretty traditional and rustic feel so my burlap and plaid Christmas wreath fits in perfectly.

A simple burlap and plaid Christmas wreath is so easy to make and looks beautiful.

Back to School Wreath with Numbers

July 24, 2014 By Shannah Coe 6 Comments

So, each month, a group of blogger friends and I get together to do a themed post. These women are amazingly creative and always knock it out of the park. In honesty, I typically forget about it until the week before or I just plain run out of time. Yep…I’m that person in the group! This month, our theme was numbers. I was stuck for so long because I couldn’t run into the kitchen and turn out something number related with ease. Instead, I did what I normally do when I am stuck…I talked to H and got her involved with the project. The result: this super cute back to school wreath with numbers.

Easy and super cute back to school wreath with glossy numbers! #CreativeBuzz

Beachy Seashell Wreath

July 3, 2014 By Shannah Coe 6 Comments

Summer months are here and I am totally dreaming of the beach.  Well, at least of the relaxation that going to the beach bring. I can skip the sand and jellyfish. We don’t go on our beach vacation until next month so I decided to bring the beach to me with beachy seashell wreath.

Bring the beach home with a few craft store supplies and a beachy seashell wreath.

Easter Ribbon Wreath

April 3, 2014 By Shannah Coe 6 Comments

Our front door is usually the first place you catch a glimpse of an upcoming holiday or new season.  So far this year, I have been a little slow to get a new wreath up.  My goal for Easter was to get a new wreath up before April 1st and I just barely made that goal.  My Easter ribbon wreath was finished on March 31st and I put it out on the morning of the 1st. Score!

St. Patrick’s Day Wreath

March 5, 2014 By Shannah Coe 5 Comments

The brain is a funny thing.  In your mind, something could look totally amazing and be the.perfect.craft and then you make it and it is definitely NOT what you envisioned.  That totally happened to me yesterday but, instead of totally doing a new project, I decided I was going to share with you my St. Patrick’s Day wreath in all of its “glory” {insert saracasm}.St. Patricks Day Wreath with Label_wm…

Valentine’s Day Ruffled Ribbon Wreath

February 5, 2014 By Shannah Coe 5 Comments

Let’s talk quick and easy crafts.  You know…the ones you do when you realize it is already February and the wreath on your front door is still the same one from Christmas.  Yeah, that kind of “oh no, gotta get a new wreath out stat” kind of craft.  That’s what this Valentine’s Day Ruffled Ribbon Wreath is all about.  I seriously realized 2 days ago that I still had the Christmas wreath up and it was February.  Blogger fail…scratch that…just human fail!

Guest Blogger: Homemade Christmas Wreath

November 28, 2013 By Shannah Coe 1 Comment

Hello Just Us Four readers, I am so happy to be here and guest posting! My name is Ciara and I run a blog called Teaspoon of Life. I am one of 13 siblings, a mommy to a rambunctious little girl, and wife to a wonderful husband. In my spare time, besides blogging and taking care of my little princess, I love to cook/create recipes,  and occasionally do some crafts.

This is only my third Christmas with my husband and we don’t have many decoration yet. We agreed on our first Christmas together that we would only get a few decoration each year (so we aren’t spending all our money at once). Also even more important, so we have something special for each year. This year I am in a very creative mood and decided to make something!

I had a thought in my head of a door decoration and by making it myself it makes it even more special! I decided to make a Christmas wreath because they can get so expensive at the stores sometimes!

Guest Blogger: Paint Dipped Wreath

November 27, 2013 By Shannah Coe 1 Comment

Hi there Just Us Four readers! My name is Laura and I blog over at The Experimental Home where I share my everyday creative experiments. I believe that I can create anything with just a little experimentation and you can too!  I am so excited to be guest posting today on Thanksgiving eve. I am also excited because in two days, our Christmas decorations come out of the attic and it is time to deck the halls!  I am not one of those people who totally replace my seasonal decor every year. For me, the best part of Christmas decorating is all the wonderful Christmas memories that the decorations hold. However, each year some decorations get retired and new ones take their place.  This year, I know I need a new wreath for my front door. I wanted to create something simple and modern with classic Christmas style. I have been loving the color-blocked look this year, so I decided to experiment with a paint dipped wreath. It was super-simple to make and I just love how it turned out!

Christmas Burlap Bell Wreath

November 26, 2013 By Shannah Coe 29 Comments

I took my first trip to Hobby Lobby a few weeks ago and I was so excited.  A store finally opened that was within an hour of me so I carved 2 hours out of my schedule to give myself plenty of time to check it all out.  While I was there, I fell in love with a burlap wreath that had bells on it.  I didn’t love the price tag though and was convinced I could make something similar for less.  Luckily, being in Hobby Lobby, it wasn’t difficult to find the supplies for my Christmas Burlap Bell Wreath.Burlap Bell Wreath with Candles_wm…
