My Miele Story

February 8, 2014 By Shannah Coe 2 Comments

Let me give you a little insight into how I normally spend my late fall/winter {say October through February}: 10-15 doctor’s appointments between my two kids, at least 10 sicks days between the two and lots of tissues, runny noses, and medication to get every one healthy.  Oh, add in my normal 5+ sicks days from catching what ever the kids have had and you’ve got a pretty good picture of our winter.

Now, let’s talk about how THIS late fall/early winter has been.  Two doctor’s appointments {one for each kid}, zero sicks days for them or me and not one single antibiotic between us all.  Yep…not one!

Those doctor’s appointment: one had a cold and one had a something in her eye.  The only one of us who got sick was my husband and his was vertigo while we were in NYC.

So, I am sure you are wondering what changed?

Over the past several months, I have shared different stories and information about my Miele vacuum and the Miele company. I largely attribute our better healthy and less sick time to our cleaner home filled with purer air.  How did I home get cleaner?
Miele Upright_wmWe replaced our old vacuum with the Miele and it is amazing and getting dirt, dust and stuff that we didn’t even realize was in this house!

That means this little guy {who touches everything and puts everything in his mouth} gets sick way less and I have to worry a lot less about what he is breathing/touching!Ethan on Miele Box_wmYou can read all my other posts about how amazing Miele is as a company and how their products {especially vacuums} are phenomenal.  The bottom line:  our experience of a healthier and, therefore, happier home speaks for itself.  A Miele gives you pure air and there is nothing better for you! In fact, so many people are just as satisfied with their Miele’s as I am that JD Power & Associates has ranked Miele vacuums #1 in customer satisfaction for 2 years in a row.

I was selected for this opportunity as a member of Clever Girls Collective and the content and opinions expressed here are all my own.

It is amazing how much dirt and dust we don’t realize we have in our homes until we do find a good vacuum. We used to have carpets throughout our house until we had a pup who had an accident. In my concern to clean the carpet, I decided to lift the carpet to be sure the accident didn’t go right through the carpet onto the hardwood underneath. And there was the proof of how much dirt my vacuum wasn’t getting out of the carpet. Dirt like I am sure you can imagine was lying there (causing allergies I am sure). Up came the carpet, yuck! And then the rest of the house was voided of all carpet. At least with the hardwood I can see the dust and dirt that I thought I was getting out of my carpet, which of course I obviously wasn’t.
I didn’t know that Miele made a vacuum, I use a Dyson – very pleased with.

I can’t wait until we can replace our carpet with hardware. I’ll still be using my Miele with the hardwood too. It is such an awesome vacuum.
