A Glimpse: Taste of Miami

Back in May, I had the opportunity to go to BlogHer Food in Miami. I had a great time and got to connect with some great bloggers. One of the highlights was going on the Miami Culinary Tour. This was a walking tour where we got to try a bunch of different Miami cuisines along with some great history about Miami architecture.
We started with a delicious drink at Bolivar while our first dish was prepared.
The ceviche and empanada that followed was amazing. I was actually craving that ceviche last week while I was preparing dinner.
From there, we did some walking around the city and stopped at a Mexican restaurant called Naked Taco for some margaritas.
One of the last places we stopped was a Cuban restaurant where we got to try something I had been waiting on for the entire trip: Cuban coffee.
We also got to try these delicious, little chicken sandwiches. Of course, now I forget the name of them but they were so good.
We had a great time on the walking tour and I was so excited to try authentic cuisine that helps shape Miami’s food scene.
