Getting Sleep When I Can

May 28, 2013 By Shannah Leave a Comment

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of ZzzQuil for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I’ve talked a bit recently about my recent knee issues.  It has kept me sidelined for several weeks which has been pretty hard on me {I hate just sitting} and to my family {lots for Mathlete to do on his own}.  One of the most difficult parts though has been getting enough sleep.  My knee made me constantly uncomfortable which made it so hard to sleep.

I tried some pain reliever plus sleep medicines but they didn’t work.  Plus, I wasn’t in constant pain when lying down so I didn’t see the need for an added pain reliever.  Then, I found ZzzQuil

I am a faithful Nyquil customer when I am sick with a cold so I thought it would be worth giving ZzzQuil a try to help me with my recent sleeplessness.

Now, ZzzQuil is only meant for when you just can’t sleep…not pain or colds.  Its active ingredient, diphenhydramine HCI, helps reduce the time it takes to fall asleep.  I tried the LiquiCap version because I am used to those but it also comes in a liquid.
One thing I am always worried about when trying out a sleep aid is it becoming habit forming.  ZzzQuil is perfect for adults and children over 12 years of age because it is safe, effective and non-habit forming when used according to the package directions.
It definitely helped me get some much needed sleep in recent weeks and I woke up refreshed and not groggy at all.  If you are having trouble sleeping, it is definitely worth checking out to see if it will help you get to sleep better.
I became a fan of ZzzQuil on Facebook so I could keep up with their any promotions or information they may share. I hope you will join me in the conversation there.
