Chocolate Coconut Snack Mix

February 3, 2016 By Shannah Coe Leave a Comment

This is a sponsored post written by me on behalf of Sunsweet Growers. All opinions are 100% mine.

We are on the go pretty much all the time during the week. Between our normal work schedule and all of the children’s activities, we also have doctor appointments and a bunch of other appointments to get to. I always keep our pantry stocked with easy grab and go snacks that are delicious but easy to eat. A delicious chocolate coconut snack mix has become one of our new favorites.

Chocolate Coconut Snack Mix is the perfect on the go snack and is packed with protein to keep you fuller longer.

This new snack mix is packed with protein and tastes amazing. It includes the new Sunsweet Thai Coconut Chip dried fruit.

The dried fruit is part of their line of tropical flavors such as Philippine Mango, Philippine Pineapple, and Philippine Green Mango. On their own, they are perfect for snacking and have the perfect amount of sweetness that comes from being sourced from unique microclimates that are ideal for growing the fruits.

Chocolate Coconut Snack Mix Ingredients:

1 cup Sunsweet Thai Coconut Chips
1 cup cocoa roasted almonds
1 cup oat bran cereal

Let’s Make It:

1) In a large bowl, combine ingredients. Toss to combine.

The combination of the coconut chips, almonds and bran cereal is amazing. Plus, it is packed with protein which helps keep you full until you can home for a full meal. We keep small bags of the snack mix in the pantry so we can grab it and eat it on the go.

Right now, Sunsweet is running the Sunsweet Find Your Paradise Sweepstakes where fans can vote on their favorite tropical vacation, such as Hawaii, a Caribbean Cruise or Florida. The winner will get a trip to their destination. There are also weekly winners who will receive gift baskets containing the new Tropicals flavors along with some great beach gear.
