5 Perfect Lunch Salads with #DixieQuicktakes

July 9, 2014 By Shannah Coe 2 Comments

Lunch options in or near my office are very limited. Like a single cafe with boring sandwiches kind of limited. So, I like to take my lunch as much as possible. Not only does it give me lots more options but it also helps me save money.  Now that the weather is warmer, I am definitely focused on salads more but tend to avoid lettuce based salads because they don’t hold up very well in travel. I was thinking about my lunch menu for upcoming weeks and came up with five perfect lunch salads.

These are five awesome ideas for lunch salads plus a great way to transport them.

One of the downsides to taking my lunch though is having to lug containers both ways. A lot of times I don’t have time to go wash my lunch container either so I end up carrying around a dirty container on the commute home. I recently discovered a great option to help me avoid this issue though. I was on Amazon looking for replacement containers for the ones I currently have and found Dixie Quicktakes® which are reusable if I wanted to but are also so inexpensive that I can toss them into the recycling bin at work without worrying about the cost. Oh, I can also send lunch off with Mathlete to work too without having to worry about my more expensive containers making their way back home.

I packed a few days of lunches in them to see how they worked out.

The Quicktakes® have the lids attached so I never have to worry about losing a lid. Plus, they are BPA free, dishwasher safe and recyclable. They come with a mix of two sizes in a 25 pack that you can only get from Amazon. {Tip: You can get 25% off with a coupon using this link. The coupon is while supplies last though so be sure to order asap!}

Of course, you need some delicious lunch ideas to pack in these awesome containers so let’s look at my five current favorite lunch salads.

Want to see what others have to say about Quicktakes and them in action? Read the Amazon reviews and watch this video for more information.

So, now you have lots of ideas on what to take for lunch in the coming weeks and great way to transport the lunch. What are you waiting for?! Go buy Quicktakes® now! {and be sure to make some of these salads to put in them too!}

    These are definitely some great ideas for lunch salads. I’ve been trying to come up with some more creative, but still healthy, stuff to take with me for lunch during the week. These definitely inspired me 🙂
