2013 Christmas Home Tour

December 18, 2013 By Shannah Coe Leave a Comment

Ok, so this is the Christmas home tour that almost didn’t happen.  The loss of a week between Thanksgiving and Christmas really threw me for a loop and got me all behind.  Add a trip to New York City for a weekend and our annual Christmas party and I’m lucky I even have presents purchased {we’ll just pretend at least one those is wrapped…mmm k?}  Of course, I did decorate for Christmas so I wanted to share it with you.  Come on and take a tour of our home!Home Tour LabelLet’s start right when you walk in our front door.  You are greeted by Noel and some light blue and silver wintery items.Front Hallway Console_wmYarn Wreath Close Up_wmClearly, I need some help actually getting my picture frames straight!  Oy…that looks crazy.  Two stockings hang on the console but I couldn’t find my other lens to get them in the picture.
If you continue on, you’ll get to the stairs which have evergreen swags and a wreath to spruce them up.Hallwayy collage_wmAnd straight ahead from the door is another little wintery display.Front Entryway Wreath_wmFlower Box Close Up_wm

The living room was decorated with the help of my kids so it is much more red and green than most of the other rooms.Living Room CollageI still love the JOY that hangs on the wall…even in its new home.

The kitchen didn’t get much this year because E is into positively everything!  I had to keep things pretty sparse so his little hands didn’t un-decorate for me.Kitchen Side Wall_wm
The adjoining family room is also on the sparse side for the same reasons as the kitchen.  Our mantle is decorated and the family room holds our tree.Mantle with StockingsTree Collage_wmFamily Room Candles_wm
And our final stop is the dining room…I went with gold and bronze in here for the most part. I just fell in love with the ornament wreath.Dining Room Side Table_wmWell, you’ve seen pretty much all of our my house all dolled up for Christmas now.  Both kids and Maya have Christmas trees in their rooms but I didn’t take any photos of those.

Hope you have a fabulous Christmas!
