WTCW #70

September 26, 2012 By Shannah 3 Comments

It is time to check out some amazing recipes from around the web and plan our dinners for the week.  You know…that thing we affectionately refer to as WTCW!

[Pioneer Woman], [Peas and Crayons], [Joyful Homemaking], [Framed Cooks]
Sunday:  I love cajun pasta so surf and turf cajun pasta just took one of my favorite dishes to a whole new level.
Monday:  We’ll go meatless again with a spinach feta quiche swirled with asparagus pesto.  Yep…asparagus pesto!
Tuesday:  The weather is cooling down a bit outside so lasagna soup sounds like a great warm meal to come home and enjoy.

Wednesday:  We LOVE crab cakes and order them a lot when out in restaurants.  I figure crispy shrimp cakes will have a similar flavor so I am anxious to give them a try.

[Mandy’s Recipe Box], [My Sweet Little Steiner Family], [Architecture of a Mom]

Thursday:  Our love for Asian food knows no bounds so this Chinese spicy chicken definitely sounds like it will be a winner in our house.

Friday:  Slow cooker to the rescue again this week!  I’m going to give slow cooker pot roast on rolls a try.

Saturday:  This chicken tortilla soup has a unique twist because it includes sweet potatoes. Yum!

Happy Cooking!

These all sound great, but I think that pot roast on a roll is calling my name!

Those shrimp cakes look really interesting. Off to take a look! And maybe stop by the others as well because those pics are making me hungry! 🙂
