WTCW #42

March 7, 2012 By Shannah Leave a Comment

It’s time to check out some of the yummy {and ridiculously good looking} food circling the web this week. Feast your eyes on some of these dinner ideas for the coming week.

[Crepes of Wrath], [The Kitchn]

Sunday:  It is a rarity that I pull out the slow cooker for a Sunday but this week is an exception.  It’s my favorite {non biological} child’s birthday so we will be spending time with them.  Making slow cooker chicken adobo will give us something yummy to come home to.

Monday:  Meatless Monday again this week with a brown rice bowl featuring lemongrass and cashews.

Tuesday:  I love apples with chicken and so apple cider chicken definitely caught my eye.  I’m just hoping I really have enough time to put this one together on a non-weekend day!

[Cheeky Kitchen], [In Sock Monkey Slippers], [The Kitchn], [Mango and Tomato]

Wednesday:  Doesn’t this soup look divine?  Guess what, this creamy corn chowder comes with vegan tips too!

Thursday:  Pasta night gets a little shaken up this week when I make a spinach lemon spaghetti frittata.

Friday:  We aren’t Catholic but I know a lot of people are doing fish on Fridays right now.  How does ginger and cilantro baked tilapia sound?

Saturday:  I love this Mexican twist on macaroni and cheese!  Plus, rotini noodles are my favorite.
