Saltwater Taffy Champagne Cocktail {Guest Post}

Hey guys – So, you know what I needed after vacation…another vacation to recover! Seriously…taking two kids to the beach for a week is hard work 😉 Good thing Kelley is here to share her saltwater taffy champagne cocktail to help me ease back into the real world.

Hey, it’s Kelley from Eat Drink Eat (dot com)! I’m so excited to be sharing one of my favorite cocktails with the Just Us Four readers.
This is a super festive drink that for some reason reminds me of fizzy saltwater taffy. My friend Gina made a similar cocktail for our holiday cocktail party last year and I made this one with just a little twist. It’s perfect for any type of party you are having.
Ingredients:
- 1/2 oz. gin
- 1 oz. fresh lemon juice
- 2 tsp. sugar
- bottle of dry (not sweet) champagne
Directions: In a shaker, combine gin, lemon juice and sugar. Shakey shakey! Pour into a champagne glass and top with champagne. Each shaker makes one cocktail.
