Peanut Butter Nutella Brownies

April 22, 2014 By Shannah Coe 2 Comments

I am a total Nutella junkie.  I can definitely be found eating it straight from the jar {I keep my own so it isn’t gross}.  But, if you add Nutella to peanut butter, watch out.  It is my all time favorite way to enjoy Nutella.  In fact, I am pretty sure I invented the ultimate snack of toasted English muffins with peanut butter on one side and Nutella on the other {don’t bust my bubble if I didn’t, okay?}.  I was looking for a way to combine my love of peanut butter and Nutella into a dessert {you know, besides pizza} and came up with peanut butter Nutella brownies.  You can thank me later…I accept all kinds of wine 😉

Now, you can already predict that these brownies start with a mix. I am nothing but predictable. I am sure making brownies from scratch has its merits but I am sticking with the box out of laziness for now.

Peanut Butter Nutella Brownies
Servings: 16
Ingredients
  • 1 box brownie mix {pick your favorite}
  • 1/3 cup oil or according to box directions
  • 2 eggs or according to box directions
  • 1/4 cup water or according to box directions
  • 20 Reese's cups...yes 20; coarsely chopped
  • 1 cup Nutella
Instructions
  1. Preaheat oven to 350 degrees. Spray 9x9 baking pan with nonstick cooking spray.
  2. In a stand mixer, mix brownie mix, oil, and water until combined. Stir in Nutella. Once mixed, fold in Reese's cup pieces.
  3. Pour batter into prepared baking pan. Bake according to package directions.
  4. Remove from heat and let cook completely before slicing.

These brownies make an appearance at least every other week or so because everyone in the house starts begging for them.  Easy to make and so delicious make them a favorite for me!
