Party Perfect Hot Dog Ideas

April 18, 2016 By Shannah Coe Leave a Comment

This post is sponsored by Hebrew National. I’m excited to be working with them to share a few ideas for the perfect hot dogs to enjoy for your BBQs.

The moment it turns even slightly warm we are out on our back deck grilling. A quick and easy option that everyone loves is grilled hot dogs. They cook quickly and, when you use Hebrew National® All-Beef Franks, you know they are going to taste delicious. I have created two party perfect hot dog ideas that will have the guests at your spring BBQs asking where you got the delicious hot dogs.

Party Perfect Hot Dog Ideas

I always choose Hebrew National® All-Beef Franks for our hots dogs because I know they are high-quality, wholesome, 100% beef and taste delicious. My son, especially, loves them!

Whenever we have friends over, we create a hot dog toppings bar so that everyone can create their party-perfect hot dog. Two of my favorites are what I call the Potato and Pepper Hot Dog and the Pretzel hot dog.

Ingredients for the Potato and Pepper Hot Dog:

1 russet potato, cut into small slices
1 green pepper, cut into strips
1 tsp oil
Salt and pepper
Mustard
Hebrew National® All-Beef Franks

Let’s Make It:

1. Heat grill to medium-high heat.

2. Toss potato pieces, green pepper slices and oil together. Season with salt and pepper. Wrap in foil and place over grill for 7-10 minutes.

3. Meanwhile, add Hebrew National® All-Beef Franks to grill and cook for 7-10 minutes.

4. Place cooked hot dog in bun and top with cooked potatoes, peppers and mustard.

Ingredients for Pretzel Hot Dog:

Hebrew National® All-Beef Franks
Mustard
1 onion, diced
Pretzel Rolls

Let’s Make It:

1. Heat grill to medium-high heat. Add Hebrew National® All-Beef Franks and cook for 7-10 minutes.

2. Slice pretzel rolls vertically down the middle. Place cooked hot dog into roll. Top with mustard and diced onions.

From potatoes and peppers to pickles and mustard to no toppings at all, you can’t go wrong when you start with Hebrew National® All-Beef Franks. They are the perfect partner to any topping you can imagine.

What makes a Hebrew National kosher hot dog premium? It’s all about what makes the cut (And what doesn’t). We’re choosy about what goes into our franks – we use only premium cuts of 100% kosher beef from the front half of the cow and then choose the best from that. No artificial flavors, colors, fillers or by-products. When your hot dog is
Kosher, that’s a hot dog you can trust! For more summer fun with Hebrew National, visit facebook.com/hebrewnational.
