I am always so excited when I get to partner with brands my family loves. While this post was sponsored by TruMoo, as always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

Halloween is just around the corner! I know it is totally crazy to think about it already being mid-October but here we are. We are headed out of town for a few days so I wanted to make sure our Halloween costumes were all set and maybe do a little early Halloween celebrating too with a few baking projects. We did a few but one of my favorites was this orange cream monster bread.

A great Halloween snack that is so easy to make too! This orange cream monster bread is the neatest idea for our Boo bags.

Orange Cream Monster Bread

We were out shopping for the kids’ Halloween costumes {sneak peeks below} and stumbled upon TruMoo Orange Scream milk. I knew it would be the perfect thing for our little Halloween snacks and figured, in addition to enjoying it by the glass, I would use it to bake something for our “Boo” bags too. The Orange Scream milk is a limited edition flavor from TruMoo so definitely check your Target for it asap so you can score some before it is too late.

What You’ll Need:

1 box orange cake mix
1 small package vanilla instant pudding
4 large eggs
3/4 cup sour cream
1/3 cup oil
1/4 cup TruMoo Orange Scream milk
3/4 cup mini M&Ms or Halloween themed sprinkles
Glaze:
1/2 cup vanilla buttercream frosting
3-4 Tbsp TruMoo Orange Scream milk

Let’s Make It:

1) Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly spray two 9-inch loaf pans with nonstick cooking spray. Set aside.

2) In a large bowl, mix together eggs, sour cream, oil and milk. Slowly stir in cake mix and pudding. Stir until just combined, about 20 strokes. Divide batter between the two prepared pans. Sprinkle with M&Ms and/or sprinkles.

3) Bake in preheated oven for 40-45 minutes or a toothpick inserted comes out clean. Let cool in pan for 5-10 minutes and then transfer to a wire cooling rack.

4) Once cooled, mix frosting and 3 Tbsp Orange Scream milk in a small bowl until smooth. If still a little too thick to glaze the bread, add an additional 1 Tbsp of milk. Spoon or pour over top of cooled bread loaves.

This bread was the perfect treat after our super fun costume shopping trip to Target. The kids had a blast looking at different costume options and, finally, selecting one for Halloween. E wants to keep his a secret but here were some of the options.

H went in the store knowing exactly what she wanted to be so it was just a matter of sorting through the different options they had available.

I think her costume turned out great and I can’t wait for her to wear it trick or treating. In the meantime, we’ll be passing out our orange cream monster bread and enjoying the delicious creaminess of the Orange Scream milk {while it is available}.
