Not All Paper is Created Equal

July 28, 2012 By Shannah Leave a Comment

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Astrobrights Papers by Neenah Paper for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

August is birthday month here in the Just Us Four household.  Both the kiddos have birthdays in August (2 days apart!) which means a lot of party planning and preparation for me.  Of course, being a craft/DIY blogger, I try to do a lot of the work myself too by making the invitations, favor tags, cupcake picks, and other related items.

You know what I have learned over the past 5 years in doing this:  All paper is not created equal.  I usually use AstroBrights papers because they come in so many great colors (23 to be exact) and the paper quality is amazing!  Using AstroBrights papers really makes a big difference in the overall finished product because the colors are so vivid and the weight of the paper is perfect.

Now, you may not have two back to back birthdays in August like I do but I bet you may have another big milestone coming up: Back to School!  AstroBrights papers would be perfect for
– helping you create an afterschool chore chart
– making those summer book reports a little more unique
– totally brightening up the summer vacation scrapbook

If you do a project with AstroBrights papers, be sure to share it as part of the “Make Something Astrobright” design challenges.  When you share your project, use the hashtag #goastrobrights

Want to be a part of another way AstroBrights papers is helping with Back to School?  Enter to the win the “Give a Brighter Year” sweepstakes.  The winner will win $30,000 in school supplies for their local elementary school AND a $500 gift card to keep.  Pretty awesome, right?  Just check out AstroBrights papers Facebook page for more information and to get started.

So, tell me about the projects you have going on?  What color paper would you use to make it perfect?
