In like the IRS

April 3, 2012 By Shannah 1 Comment

Can you believe it is April already? It is sort of shocking how quickly March flew by. April is usually a fun time of year with the change to Spring along with Easter fun. Unfortunately, April always brings taxes with it.

This year, we finally broke down and had a CPA complete our taxes. With the rental property and some other stuff going on financially, I just felt like I was out of my league for completing them and getting it exactly right. This way, someone else is responsible for all that.

Have you started your taxes yet?
If not, remember you only have 15 more days to get it done! Need a little help getting started? H & R Block and Turbo Tax are there for you. Check out the details by clicking either of the links below.

H&R Block

With H&R Block, you can complete your federal tax return using their online product for free. Of course, certain forms might cost to file but the basic federal form is $0 to file.

Turbo Tax

With TurboTax you’ll get your biggest tax refund guaranteed, with 100% accurate calculations and free help and step by step guidance so you are confident your taxes are done right. • TurboTax Federal Free Edition • #1 Rated, Best-Selling tax software brand year after year • FREE preparation, FREE printing, FREE efiling for your simple tax return (when referring to TurboTax Federal Free Edition) • Easily get your biggest tax refund possible, guaranteed* • Free Audit Support Center and live online help • Guides you like a GPS through your simple tax return(when referring to TurboTax Federal Free Edition)

So, don’t forget that you need to get those taxes done and filed by April 17th this year…weird that it isn’t the 15th I know but I’m sure a lot of people are thankful for the extra 2 days.
