Halloween Peanut Butter Chocolate Monster Bars

September 21, 2015 By Shannah Coe 4 Comments

I am so excited to be a part of the 30 Days of Halloween series coordinated by Cupcake Diaries! Each day during the month of September, you will find a great Halloween themed recipe or printable shared as part of the series. Today, I’m sharing Halloween peanut butter chocolate monster bars.

Halloween Peanut Butter Chocolate Candy

These squares are so easy to make and taste amazing. They are also the perfect way to use up some leftover Halloween candy if you have any. You could easily switch out the M&Ms for different types of chopped up candy bars.

Halloween Peanut Butter Chocolate Monster Bar Ingredients:

2 bags milk chocolate chips
1 bag white chocolate chips
3 Tbsp vegetable oil
1 ½ cups creamy peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla extract
2 cups powdered sugar
1 cup Halloween M&Ms

Let’s Make It:

1) Line a 9×9 baking pan with parchment paper.

2) Mix together milk chocolate chips and 2 Tbsp oil. Heat in microwave for 30 seconds. Stir and then heat in 10 second increments, string in between, until melted and smooth. Pour into prepared pan and spread into even layer. Place in refrigerator for 15-20 minutes.

3) Beat together peanut butter, vanilla and powdered sugar until smooth. Spread on top of milk chocolate layer.

4) Mix together white chocolate chips and remaining 1 Tbsp of oil. Pour over peanut butter mixture. Sprinkle with M&Ms. Refrigerate until firm.

I made these one day and then took them to work the next day. My co-workers absolutely loved them! I really like the peanut butter fudge layer in the middle. So delicious.
