I am so excited to be a part of the 30 Days of Halloween series coordinated by Cupcake Diaries! Each day during the month of September, you will find a great Halloween themed recipe or printable shared as part of the series. Today, I’m sharing Halloween peanut butter chocolate monster bars.Â

These chocolate dessert bars are so easy to make and taste amazing. They are also the perfect way to use up some leftover Halloween candy if you have any. You could easily switch out the M&Ms for different types of chopped up candy bars.

How to Make Chocolate Peanut Butter Bars
The full list of ingredients and instructions can be found in the printable recipe card below. Here is a brief overview of the steps to make these delicious peanut butter chocolate bars.
- Prepare the pan. I use a 9×9 baking pan and line it with parchment paper.
- Create the first layer of chocolate. Melt the milk chocolate chips with some of the oil. Once melted and smooth, pour into the prepared pan. Refrigerate.
- Create the second layer. Combine the peanut butter, vanilla extract, and powdered sugar. Spread on top of chocolate layer.
- Create the third layer. Melt the white chocolate chips and remaining oil. Pour over the peanut butter layer and sprinkle with the chocolate candies. Refrigerate.
I made these one day and then took them to work the next day. My co-workers absolutely loved them! I really like the peanut butter fudge layer in the middle. So delicious.
