Easy Green Smoothie (and Donut Holes)

December 8, 2016 By Shannah Coe 1 Comment

Start your morning off with a healthy and delicious Green Smoothie. It is so easy to make and packed with a blend of fruit and vegetables!

Breakfast for me is all about getting something delicious that I can also take with me on the go since I have a long commute into the city for work.  I like to make sure I have something on the healthy side like an easy Green Smoothie!

Easy Green Smoothie

I also love adding something a little extra to go along with my smoothie. It definitely needs to be portable though! I recently discovered Farm Rich Bakery products in our grocery store’s freezer section.

With options like Sausage, Egg and Cheese Pull Aparts and  Cinnamon Sugar donut holes, I can buy Farm Rich Bakery products to ensure hot-baked, wholesome breakfasts for get up-and-go mornings are now always on hand, right in my freezer. Plus, Farm Rich products are made with wholesome, quality ingredients making them Real-Life Good™.

Farm Rich Donut Holes

I recently tried the Farm Rich Bakery Cinnamon Sugar Donut Holes along with green smoothie one morning. They are, in a word, AH-MAZING. They bake in the oven super quick and are perfectly warm and soft.

A few of these were the perfect complement to my simple green smoothie! I can easily make this green smoothie recipe the night before and grab it on my way to work in the morning. Trust me when I say it tastes so delicious!

Easy Green Apple Smoothie

My whole family has fallen in love with the Farm Rich Bakery products. I usually make all of the donut holes and leave them for the rest of family when I leave in the morning.

Thanks for sharing this recipe Shannah, I’ve added it to my list! One thing I’ve been doing lately is blending avocado seeds, they’re a great source of antioxidants and fiber. So whenever I eat an avocado, I just keep the seed in the fridge for later and add it as an extra ingredient to my next green smoothie experiment. Avocado seeds are actually quite bitter but if there’s enough fruit in the smoothie, you can hardly taste the seed. You gotta have a strong blender to crush the seed though!
