Easy Apricot Meatballs

November 25, 2014 By Shannah Coe 2 Comments

Hosting events during the holidays {or any time} can really be stressful. There is the menu planning, guest counts and so many other things to think about. Finding a few items that you can use instead of having to make everything from scratch can be a true game changer. My favorite “holiday hack” is using premade meatballs and then dressing them up with a delicious sauce to totally transform them into the perfect party snack. A recipe that is always a hit at parties is my easy apricot meatballs.

Easy apricot meatballs are the perfect party snack! With a hint of spice mixed in with the sweet sauce, they will have everyone commenting how delicious they taste.

To create this dish, you only need three simple ingredients. You could easily make this in the crockpot versus the stove for the perfect make ahead party food.

Ingredients for Easy Apricot Meatballs:

1 bag frozen meatballs
1 jar apricot preserves
1 bottle chili sauce

Let’s Make It:

1) In a large pan, combine apricot preserves and chili sauce. Heat over medium heat, stirring occasionally, until preserves are melted. Add meatballs and simmer for 10-15 minutes or until heated through.

I told you the meatballs were easy! They are so delicious because the chili sauce adds the perfect amount of spice to offset the sweetness of the preserves. Of course, starting out with a great meatball is key to a perfect finished product.

Skip the hassle of making dishes from scratch for parties and try my favorite holiday hack for a delicious and easy apricot meatball recipe.

Spicy Apricot Meatballs are made super easy thanks to premade meatballs.

What are some of your favorite holiday hacks? Do you love to entertain but don’t love the stress it sometimes brings?
