Mayonnaise Tuna Pasta Salad Recipe Ingredients

  • Pasta: I use farfalle, also known as bowtie pasta, for this tuna pasta salad.
  • Frozen Peas
  • Canned Tuna: For the best results, use canned tuna packed in olive oil.
  • Onion: A lot of tuna pasta salad recipes include celery but I am not a fan of celery so I replaced it with chopped onion for crunch.
  • Fresh Herbs: Parsley and chives are perfect in this recipe.
  • Nonfat Greek yogurt and Mayonnaise: A mix of these two are used to form the base of the dressing for the canned tuna pasta salad.
  • Red Wine Vinegar: This helps add brightness and acidity to the dressing. You can use white wine vinegar, if preferred.
  • Salt and Pepper
