Chocolate Maple Pecan Bars

November 23, 2014 By Shannah Coe 4 Comments

Chocolate Maple Pecan Bars are the perfect addition to your Thanksgiving or Christmas desserts this year! Everyone will love bars that taste like pecan pie!

With the holidays upon us {um, can you believe Thanksgiving is this week?!}, most kitchens are gearing up for major cooking and baking!

The perfect substitute for traditional pecan pie! Chocolate maple pecan bars are amazing and so delicious.

From mid-November through the end of the year, my oven really gets a work out between cooking holiday meals and baking yummy holiday treats like Chocolate Maple Pecan Bars.

With so many amazing sweet treats around, I try to look for ways to trim fat and calories any way I can. One easy way is by replacing traditional items in baking, like butter, with a lower calorie option like I did for this recipe.

Oh, these are the BEST chocolate maple pecan bars I have ever made. All the taste of pecan pie with some added chocolate in an easy to make bar form. I see these on our Christmas plates this year for sure. I love combining chocolate with nuts like this recipe for chocolate maple pecan bars does!

This recipe does not say how much maple syrup to add.

Thank you so much for pointing that out! It is 1/2 cup. I will go change it in the recipe.
