Making it to all of the black Friday stores to check out the deals and take advantage of the savings can be a long process.  There tends to be a lot of waiting in line and, if you are like me, you are out for several hours at a time.  Being successful in black Friday shopping is best done with a plan and an “emergency” kit.  Here’s a peek at mine:

I started with a plain tote bag and just ironed on the Let’s Shop.  I thought it was a fun little addition to an otherwise boring bag.  Mathlete and I usually end up in lines at different stores so, with this bag, he can have snacks and supplies with him and I can just stash anything I need in my purse too. {I’m sure he’ll turn it so no one sees the lettering though}

In my bag, I have the following “supplies”
– Granola Bars for Mathlete
– Trail Mix
– Lara Bars for Me
– Bottled Water for me
– Gatorade for Mathlete
– Two Reeses Christmas trees for when my sweet tooth kicks in
– Starbucks card preloaded for our caffeine break
– My Jackery phone charger
– Headphones
– Pen

Donna designed the shopping list printable for me after I emailed her looking for a much cuter way to keep track of my planned purchases this black Friday.  I think she did a great job {as always} and I can’t wait to use it.  She is so awesome though that she is giving it to you guys for free!  Just click over to her free printables page and you can download your copy too!

So, now we are all ready to shop and grab some of those great black Friday deals.  Are you ready?

  2. Shannah, this is great! I do an annual Black Friday outing with friends and that list will help (maybe!) keep us a little more focused! Thank you so much for sharing and pinning! Have a happy Tuesday!

  3. This is an awesome idea! I am going to use this one! My family use to drop my sister off at work and shop all night long then get breakfast at 3-4 AM and go home and to bed for a few hours then go back out. Now she has a car so I am not sure what we will do.

  4. Cute idea! I haven’t gone Black Friday shopping the last two years and I’ve missed it. I haven’t decided about this year yet. I seem to do more and more of my shopping online as my kids get older.

  5. You’re hilarious. I am such an online Black Friday shopper. I’ve been out once or twice and it was just too much and I ended up more annoyed than I started and left without buying anything. This is an awesome idea though so someone who is up for braving the insanity.

  6. Ha! Love this. What a great idea… I don’t personally plan to head out to shop, I only head out to see the crowds, HA! Love your printable.

  7. Wow, this is a quiet impressive idea. Good job Miss Coe. Looking forward for your recipes. This is a great help for me and my family. Have a great day!
