Best Toys for Kids Who Love to Explore and Discover

October 22, 2014 By Shannah Coe 3 Comments

SoFab Disclosure

I have two very active kids. My youngest,, who is four, is always exploring the world around him and trying to discover pretty much anything new he can. I love finding toys that help him discover new and exciting sounds, activities and ways to view the world. I have started shopping for his Christmas presents and found a few of the best toys for kids who love to explore and discover just like he does!

6 Great toys for Kids

Shopping for toys can be pretty tough because there are just so many options out there. And, what one child likes another may just not have a ton of interest in. Target makes toy shopping a little easier by offering a ton of options both in-store and as part of their online Toy Emporium. I did a little clicking around in the online toy emporium to see what was popular right now. I love how they break out the toys into categories to make it easy for parents to hone in on the items that fit their kids likes.

After my “research” online, I hit the store to check out and see what they had. The toy aisles are pretty well marked making it so easy to shop. Last year, someone gave our son the B. Brand Woofer guitar so I really wanted to see what options were there to play along with the guitar.

In the aisles, I found so many great toys for kids just like mine! Here were what I consider the top six! Go ahead and add these to your shopping list for the holidays. The kids will LOVE them and you will be the hero of Christmas for putting the best toys under the tree.

During my shopping trip, I picked up the cat keyboard to go along with our Woofer guitar.

E loved having both of them and kept going back and forth between the two discovering out all the different sounds they made. The paw of the Cat keyboard offers a bunch of different types of music which E loved. He would press one and listen for a few seconds before pressing another to explore all the different choices.

His favorite was pulling the handle on the guitar to make it sounds like an electric guitar. He kept coming back to the toy over and over to see if it would play a different song or to discover a new sound.
