Baked Spaghetti

November 28, 2012 By Shannah 6 Comments

Spaghetti is a family favorite for a lot of people.  It can get a little boring though with regular sauce and pasta.  We like to change up the traditional spaghetti with baked spaghetti from time to time.

What You’ll Need:
16 oz thin spaghetti
1 cup marinara sauce
1 (8oz) block cream cheese, softened
8 oz small curd cottage cheese
1/2 cup grated Parmesan

Let’s Make It:
1)  Cook the spaghetti in a large pot of salted water for 5 minutes.

2)  In a small bowl, combine the marinara sauce, cream cheese and cottage cheese.

3)  Put the spaghetti in a 9×13 baking dish coated with cooking spray.  Cover with marinara mixture and sprinkle with Parmesan cheese.

4)  Bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.

Once the spaghetti is done, top it with extra grated Parmesan if desired and serve with salad and garlic bread.  It makes a yummy  meal.  Oh, and a bonus: this freezes well too.  Just complete through step 3 and cover with plastic wrap and freeze until ready to use.  Just be sure to thaw it before you bake it.
