3 Ways to Add Color to Your Home

October 26, 2014 By Shannah Coe Leave a Comment

I am always excited to share my thoughts and experiences of some of my favorite products with my readers. While this post was compensated, as always, all thoughts and opinions are my own.

My house is pretty neutral when it comes to paint, furniture and even a lot of the artwork. So, I am always looking for ways to add color to my home. Of course, I want any changes I make to be quick and easy and not cost a ton of money because I will probably want to change it up in a few months. So, I thought I would share 3 ways you can easily add color to your home that are inexpensive and easy.

Three Easy Ways to Add Color to Your Home #HintofColor #SparkleTowels

One of the ways I add a little hint of color to my home is with plants. I have the blackest thumb known to man so most of them are artificial but they do a great job anyways. Someone gave me a Christmas cactus a few years back and I have managed to keep that alive. All my other plants are faux plants though which is probably for the best since my kids would have a field day with real plants. Plants offer a great hint of green that will coordinate with just about type of decor.

Another way to add color to your home is with muted, colored light bulbs. I am not talking about neon lights or anything like that but technology has come a long way and there are some really awesome light bulbs available that offer muted colors for your home.

This last one is probably going to surprise you a little bit but it is choose a paper towel with hints of color. No, not your mom’s old fashioned paper towels with little country motifs. I am talking about something like the Sparkle® towels with a hint of color that will work seamlessly with your decor.

You can see from the picture that the blue in the paper towels is really subtle but I love that it offers a hint of color there versus being a plain white towel. It is the perfect complement to our neutral walls in the kitchen.

Right now, you can get $1 off Sparkle® paper towels {6 rolls or larger} by visiting the Sparkle® website!
