What to Eat at Your Superbowl Party!

January 30, 2012 By Shannah 7 Comments

Ok, I’m not a professional football fan.  I go to the Superbowl parties to socialize and eat the yummy food.  The one we attend is a potluck style so I am always on the lookout for yummy things to take.  Here is a collection of items for consideration for your upcoming party (or maybe to pass along to the host of one you are attending as a little hint!).

[Cooking with K], [Just Us Four], [Pinch of Yum], [Recipe Girl], [Peas & Crayons]

1)  Combine Italian sausage, cheese and ranch to make Hidden Valley Sausage Stars!
2)  Satisfy bacon lovers with Candied Cayenne Bacon.
3)  Offer a little bit of healthy {or at least healthier} on the table with Cinnamon Sugar Radish Chips.
4)  Having a bowl of something easy to snack on sitting on a table is always a plus.  Give rosemary maple cashews a try for an alternative to peanuts.
5)  Nachos are a must have at any party!

[Pennies on a Platter], [Mom on Time Out], [Skinny Taste]

6)  A lot of people order pizza for parties.  Why not make pizza bites instead?
7)  Want pasta without needed a fork?  Fried ravioli is the solution for you!
8)  Meatballs are always a hit and these have a Southwest flavor and come with a yummy cilantro dipping sauce.
9)  Chips and dip are must have at a party too.  Give this queso recipe a try and you might find your guests licking the bowl.

[The Kitchn], [Simply Recipes], [Crepes of Wrath]

10)  Of course, wings and football go together like cookies and milk.  Give your guests a few different options including traditional, Korean, or sweet hot Asian.

[Framed Cooks], [Sweet Basil], [Chef-N-Training]

11)  We have kids at the party I attend so cookies are a great option.  These salted caramel chocolate chip cookies offer something extra for adults too.
12)  Reese’s cups are a favorite in our house so making them into a sweet little treat sounds great!
13)  The picture of these caramelitas says it all about how good these are.  Make an extra batch because I bet you will need it.
