Shut the Country Door

October 17, 2011 By Shannah 2 Comments

I get a ton of mail.  My poor mail man must spend all of his FSA dollars on a chiropractor from hauling our mail around.  Most of it is junk that goes right into the recycling or shred bin.  The other day, I opened the mailbox to find a catalog from Through the Country Door (TTCD for short…at least in this post!).

This had to be some kind of post office mix-up, right?  I’m not a country decor style person.  Other than being someone who was born in the South (and may or may not have had a CB radio…), I don’t have much country cred to warrant this delivery.
I’m sure you could guess where I planned for this to go

H wanted to look at the picture on the front so it made it into the house.  Intrigued, I flipped through it.
Honestly, there was a lot in there that didn’t really fit my taste (no surprise!)

BUT there were some items that reminded me of other things I’ve seen in some of my favorite places…Z Gallerie, Pottery Barn, West Elm, etc.

[Z Gallerie], [TTCD]
[Pottery Barn], [TTCD]
[West Elm], [TTCD]
[West Elm]

Obviously, the items aren’t identical but they are pretty close and could have the same effect in a room.  The price tag definitely makes them very attractive to this bargain shopper!

**I wasn’t approached or paid/perked in anyway by TTCD to write this post.  You are just getting the ramblings of a woman with a new catalog to look at.**

You know there is a website where you enter your catalog info and they will stop sending them to you. It also shows you by stopping the catalog from being mailed out, how many trees you have saved, the gases from being released and other info!
