Let’s Get Cheesy

April 24, 2012 By Shannah 13 Comments

Did you know April is National Grilled Cheese month?  Yep, there is an entire month dedicated to the yummy, cheesy goodness that is a grilled cheese!  Of course, we like to celebrate just about anything here so I got out my cheese and got down to business.

Yep, that is some speciality cheese there.  Well, not specialty in like the moldy, smelly kind that you pay $24 per ounce for…but it ain’t plain ole American either.  I used a blend of muenster and Jarlsburg.  YUM!
I didn’t just go with cheese though.  Nope, another special ingredient was added: cayenne candied bacon!

I put it all together in my little grilled cheese pan and cooked it until the cheese was all melted.

Oh, and I told ya I eat this salad with everything!

SO YUMMY! Mathlete ate all of his and was begging for half of mine.

So, what kind of grilled cheese are you making for Grilled Cheese month?
