Imagine the Possibilities – Needles and Thread

January 24, 2012 By Shannah 1 Comment

A blogger friend of mine, Karah, is part of a great project for the month of January called Imagine the Possibilities

If you know me {or visit here often}, you know that there is one major thing I generally avoid.  No, it isn’t laundry {even though I have been known to try my best to avoid that}!  It is sewing.  I don’t sew…anything.  I even beg my mother in law to sew buttons back onto my kids clothing.

So, you can imagine that the idea of sewing my own curtains is a pretty daunting task.  I took a major step over the week though towards tackling this project.  I bought fabric!  In fact, I bought all of the fabric I would need to do the curtains which means there is no turning back.

I also did a little research to make sure I’d be ready when the sewing machine arrives.  Thanks to House of Hepworths, I have some pretty detailed pictures to follow!

So, what is your biggest challenge?  Want to join us as we Imagine the Possibilities?
