Countdown to Valentine’s Day

This past Christmas, H really got into counting down to the “big” day via our Advent Calendar. ย So, I decided to make a Valentine’s countdown calendar this year.

I started with the same frame that I used for our Advent calendar. ย It is just a white backless frame that I strung red ribbon on.

I had found these cute little cards with envelopes at the craft store.
I wrote little notes on each of the notecards. ย The notes ranged from simple things like “I love you” to activities we might do that particular day. ย Then, I decorated the front of each envelope so it looked like a little letter.
ย I used little mini clothespins to hold each envelope onto the ribbon. ย Then, I hung the whole frame on the wall in our entryway.
I love the little number stickers I found. ย They are raised and covered in glitter which just adds a touch of fun.
The countdown to Valentine’s Day is ready to start on February 1st!
Are you doing anything fun to countdown to Valentine’s Day?
