Can You Feel the LOVE?

February 11, 2013 By Shannah 4 Comments

We have an area in our foyer where 5 framed pictures usually live.  For Christmas, I change these out for holiday themed words or pictures.  This year, I decided change them up for another holiday prior to putting the usual frames back in their place.

Love Frames in Entryway

It is the simplest little thing to make. The hardest part was/is getting those darn frames to hang straight.

Start with some inexpensive frames. Mine are white 8×10 frames from Target.  Then, get some scrapbook paper in any colors or patterns you choose and cut it to fit your frames.

Add the paper into your picture frames.

Crafting at the kitchen table again…

I used my Silhouette Cameo to cute out my letters for the L-O-V-E and the heart. You can, of course, do this free hand or with stencils.

I took the letter and glued them to the scrapbook paper in the frames with clear school glue.  Then, back into the frame they went.

My center frame is always a shape of some sort and, for Valentine’s Day, I chose the obvious shape of a heart.
