Garlic and Herb Pork Kabobs

September 17, 2014 By Shannah Coe 11 Comments

We are coming down to the last days of the regular grilling season and I am trying to squeeze in every chance to grill that I can. Of couse, my available cooking time is almost nonexistent right now so I need things that can cook fast and don’t require a lot of marinade time or prep work. That is one of the reasons I love the Smithfield marinated pork products…they do all the work for you. I recently picked up one of the garlic and herb tenderloins and brought it home to grill for dinner.

Yummy kabobs in under 30 minutes...this is an awesome weeknight meal!

These garlic and herb pork kabobs are the easiest weeknight meal you can put on your grill but taste like you spent a ton of time preparing them. I topped mine with garlic and herb sauce which just added a little extra flavor punch without a lot of work.

What You’ll Need:

1 Garlic and Herb tenderloin, cut into chunks
2 bell peppers, cut into chunks
1 red onion, cut into chunks
1 pineapple, cut into chunks
Herb Sauce:
1/4 cup red wine vinegar
1 tsp salt
4 garlic cloves, minced
1/3 cup cilantro, chopped
1/4 cup parsley, chopped
2 Tbsp oregano, chopped
1 Tbsp olive oil

Let’s Make It:

1) Preheat grill to medium heat. Lightly oil grates.

2) Thread pork, bell pepper, onion and pineapple onto skewers. {Note: If you are using bamboo skewers, be sure to soak them in water first!}

Place on grill and grill, over medium heat, for 5 minutes. Turn over and gril for another 5 minutes or until pork is cooked through.

3) While pork cooks, combine herb sauce ingredients in a small bowl and stir to combine. Serve over pork kabobs.

This whole recipe takes less than 30 minutes from start to finish!

The herb sauce for these kabobs goes so perfectly with marinated pork! Yum. Kabobs are our favorite thing to grill! Love the combination of marinated pork and fresh vegetables. Wow! This could be a great dinner party dish & it only takes 30 minutes.

Do you have a busy nights where you struggle to get dinner to the table?

Oo, your kabobs look so delicious. I wanted to make some kabobs with my marinated pork but was afraid the herbs will not be a good fit for kabobs. I’m definitely going to do it, now that I’ve seen your recipe. Thanks for sharing Shannah
